It is vital our service is shaped and developed to ‘fit’ what is needed by our patients and referrers. We therefore are always looking to recruit people who have used our service to join our Experts by Experience Consortium.
We invite members to regularly attend our directors business meetings, team business meetings and recruitment processes to advise and support our decision making and service development. This is an invaluable contribution to us so this is a paid position.

Current Priorities:
- Continuing to nurture trauma informed practice in all our work.
- Working with the Restraint Reduction Network around developing what “good practice” looks like.
- In our quest for least restrictive practice. Campaigning for all mental health transport companies to collect and publish data on their use of restrictive practice.
- Serving our population of patients with high support needs, without the need of purchasing caged/celled vehicles.
